Founding Ideals
I wanted to create a company where engineers can work pleasantly.
It was in 1992 after the collapse of the bubble economy when I founded this company with this in mind. Microcomputers were beginning to appear in the market, and there was a growing need for the computerization of products and facilities, even among small and medium-sized businesses.
Therefore, when I started the company, I had the dream that I would like to help local small and medium-sized businesses by playing the role of their electronic business division.
First of all, to possess unique technology and then to create a company where engineers can really feel the fun of working.
So what is “pleasantness” as an engineer?
I think that it is the mission of PAL, and the best part of our work, to have our technologies used in world-class manufacturing, while also creating new value with these technologies to satisfy our customers.
Looking to the Next Era
To fulfill PAL's mission, we are working toward five key goals.
Our first goal is user-focused product development. How and in what environment are our products used and what do our customers really want? We recommend that employees get to know the essence of our customers by going out into the field.
Our second goal is to make active attempts at new challenges in technology. We believe that the speed of technological innovation in recent years represents an opportunity, and that how effectively we utilize it relates directly to PAL's way of life and survival. For that reason, we invest in next-generation technologies by participating in technology seminars and absorbing new information at exhibitions and other events.
The third goal is to develop our global presence. Our core technologies are also in demand overseas. We are researching overseas markets and working to develop products that can be useful in each country.
Our fourth goal is to improve employee growth and engagement. The growth of a company is equal to the growth of its employees, and if our human resources do not grow, there will be no advancement as a company. We believe that having employees work to improve their human and technical skills gives birth to "the joy of manufacturing" and "products needed by society."
Our fifth goal is to achieve sustainability. SDGs initiatives are essential for the future development of the company. We are advancing initiatives from the perspective of the SDGs in terms of product development and workplace environments.
We have a vision of contributing to the realization of safe and secure urban development around the world. We aim to be a "global niche top manufacturer" and enable our customers to reach the top of their industry.
